It's Time To Move Forward
Imagine the world crumbling around you, but instead of becoming paralyzed with fear, you run towards a new, adventurous life. You can hardly catch your breath as you run, but something in you tells you, “I no longer belong here. It’s time to move on to something new and better.”
Your heart races with every step you take. As your feet pound the earth, you are pulled farther and farther from your once familiar domain.
Although each step feels scary, you feel hopeful because up ahead is a beautiful kingdom glistening with opportunities.
Your friends and family, too afraid to make a move, yell out, “Stop! What are you doing? It can be dangerous!”
You notice that running alongside you is a new friend offering her support, “Keep moving forward! You CAN do this!”
This scenario is similar to many instances of people who decide to make a bold, yet scary move. Their friends and family dissuade them from leaving the comfort of their city, state or country. You may have experienced this in your own life.
When it comes to making the next move right now, you may find yourself being protected by the voice in your head that wants you to play it safe. You also have an adventurous go-getter inside of you who wants you to take a chance on yourself.
The difference between a life that you’ve outgrown and a beautiful kingdom of opportunities is your willingness to keep moving forward.
Here are 3 success tips you can implement RIGHT NOW to align with your inner adventurer and become a successful, forward-thinking leader of your own life.
1. Choose To Be Successful
Whatever dream you want to pursue, you must first choose. Recognize that you are always at choice; therefore, choose the option that feels the most like success…then pour every ounce of your energy into it.
2. Take Bold Action
A line from the movie, Shawshank Redemption, states “Get busy living or get busy dying.” So, just get moving. Start running. Move boldly in the direction of your dreams, whatever that means to you. Stop preparing and start doing; you can course-correct as you go along.
3. Tune Out Naysayers
Family and friends are great at providing you with unneeded, discouraging advice. They have many reasons why your vision is foolish, and they will rattle off a list of your shortcomings if you let them. Don’t let them. Don’t listen. Stay focused on your goal.
You are capable of achieving massive success, regardless of your background. You may even find yourself living in your own beautiful kingdom. Create it. Live it. For this to become your reality, focus on your inner adventurer, believe in positive outcomes, and keep moving forward. I promise, the rewards far outweigh the risks.
